MOCA Panel

Saturday, May 19th: The presentation at MOCA (Museum Of Contemporary Art) went nicely. Big thanks to Jim Prigoff for moderating the panel with Revok, Risk, Vyal and me, and big thanks to the panelists. There was an interesting mix in the audience of writers and curious outsiders. My slide presentation was a bit raggedy because the slides I was using were mostly from the book and being just back from the publisher, they still had page labels on them and they were coming off and getting jammed in the projector. Guess I learned one more thing to think about in the future. The coolest thing about the event was the good vibe of the writers (many of L.A.’s most talented) hanging out after the event and people coming up to them to get books signed.
